Meet Dr. Reinglass
Dr. Howard Reinglass is one of the most respected ophthamologists in the Chicagoland area. Dr. Reinglass has more than 40 years of experience in performing surgery for the treatment of Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetes, Pterygium and corneal transplantation. Dr. Reinglass pioneered the use of the RK (Radial Keratectomy) to eliminate near sightedness. When the Excimer Laser received FDA approval in the United States, Dr. Reinglass was one of the first surgeons in the country to purchase the Excimer Laser and began use of the laser for PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) treatment. Dr. Reinglass continually performs the advanced Lasik (Flap and Zap) procedure, which allows most people to see the next day without glasses or contacts.
